Pavol Pokorný is a Slovak architect who has been designing modern family homes for over 20 years with an emphasis on simplicity, functionality and energy efficiency. Since 2008, he has specialized exclusively in low-energy and passive houses, proving that ecological architecture can be both aesthetic and timeless.
His work is characterized by clean lines, thoughtful details and a harmonious connection of technical and visual solutions. His designs are based on people's needs, the orientation of the house and its relationship to the surroundings. Pavol Pokorný's houses appear simple, but at the same time offer high living comfort and high-quality architectural solutions.
He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, and also gained experience in Vienna and Zurich. Today he runs the POKORNY ARCHITEKTI office in Bratislava, works as a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture of the Slovak University of Technology and is involved in the field of passive houses and energy-efficient architecture. His work has received professional recognition and prestigious awards.
