Juraj Vyboh

Juraj Vyboh Studio is a design and craft workshop focused on handmade lighting and solitary furniture, based in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Since its inception in 2009, Juro Vyboh has worked as an architect for six years, while also working on his own smaller design projects. What started as a hobby gradually became a full-time job.

The concept of his work is based mainly — but not only — on the use of recycled materials and objects with a new purpose. Reusing things with their own story leads to unexpected and unique design results, characterized by unconventionality and hidden humor.

The goal is to discover new materials and techniques and create exceptional, yet fully functional objects that shape the atmosphere of a space. They are designed for those who want to enrich their interior with distinctive solitaires and give it a unique character.
