Another chance. We work with materials that allow us to do only as much as they can withstand and as much craftsmanship as the original builders put into them.

Second chance.

Recently, our studio Le Phart – architects, in collaboration with arch. Martin Hrašek, has been dealing with, among other things, reconstructions in heritage zones – from urban and regional to zones protected by UNESCO. Dilapidated, uninhabited, burned out... abandoned for decades. These are the topics that fill our work and time.

Another chance. We work with materials that allow us to do only as much as they can withstand and as much craftsmanship as the original builders put into them. These are interconnected, supported, freestanding and sometimes levitating structures, to which we try to return their original function, defined sometime in the Renaissance.

Clay, wood, stone and lime are the materials we have been creating with for the last 6-7 years. With humility and constant surprise, we discover, search, analyze, evaluate and compare. We are looking for the right path between investors and authorities, function and aesthetics, but also between recklessness and sober thinking. In this process, we are fully aware that only time will tell the correctness of our efforts and creation.
